As mentioned previously, David and his sole trader business was involved for ten years as a director, chairperson, treasurer, and accounting sponsor of the small business advisory organization, Basi. He was very passionate about the organization and its mission – providing advice and assistance to small business at all stages of its lifecycle. This community work finished in 2008.

DJC Accounting Pty Ltd sponsored two sporting organizations in the St George District of Sydney for six years:

Kingsgrove Cricket Club (2010 – 2015)
Penshurst RSL Junior Rugby League Club Inc. (2011 – 2016)
